My wife Lorma and I have been writing for Australian and international magazines since 1989 and although the subject matter and the technical information is from my hand, the articles have always been a collaborative effort. Lorma adds not only a women’s perspective to the content, but her editing skills that have made my thoughts readable and hopefully both educational and informative.

My name is Peter Brady and I have been involved in designing and building boats all my working life. I began my career in 1973 and Pacific Power Cats Pty Ltd is the name of our family run boat-building yard located on the banks of the Brisbane River in the marine complex known as The Yard Brisbane in Hemmant, Brisbane, Australia.
