Welcome to Pacific Power Cats

My name is Peter Brady and I have been involved in designing and building boats all my working life. I began my career in 1973 and Pacific Power Cats Pty Ltd is the name of our family run boat-building yard located on the banks of the Brisbane River in the marine complex known as The Yard Brisbane in Hemmant, Brisbane, Australia.

Our core business is building, upgrading and maintaining my displaning power catamaran designs, however we also undertake work as diverse as interior decorating and fit outs, classic timber boat restorations, building composite rigs, boat alterations and the construction of composite marine, automotive and industrial components.

In conjunction with our design business Pathfinder Power Cats Pty Ltd, we offer a total marine service from concept to a completed boat.

We are experienced in both custom and production boatbuilding using epoxy, vinylester or polyester resins and have extensive experience in infusion, vacuum bagging, wet lamination of fibreglass, Kevlar and carbon-fibre along with a variety of cores.

We have tradespeople on our staff with an extensive range of experience gained while working at yards as diverse as Wally Yachts, Austral Ships, Warren Yachts, McConoughy’s, on Americas Cup boats and superyacht fit outs and of course, a number of our staff have been with me for many years on all the different projects we have been involved in, with all planning and supervision undertaken by myself.
